Description

The 2026 Australia’s Dark Bees – Lucifer Bee is a 2 oz .999 fine silver coin issued as legal tender of Niue with a face value of $5.

The black proof finish gives the design its depth — a mirrored field darkened to near-ink, with the frosted relief of the bee lifting clear of the surface. It is a finish that suits the subject, and one that photographs far better in the hand than on a screen.

With a worldwide mintage of just 700 coins, this is a genuinely limited release. Each coin ships in its original display box with a numbered certificate of authenticity.
