Description

The Royal Australian Mint’s new Colours of Christmas series celebrates the uniquely Australian Christmas in summer, with Australia’s coral reefs taking centre stage.

Inspired by the brilliant colours and organic forms of coral reefs, the design is a kaleidoscope of purple, blue, green, pink, red, orange and yellow set against intricate relief work. The radial pattern surrounds a 2026 centrepiece and is an abstract take on stained glass, stars, snowflakes and spiked sea urchins.

Each uncirculated coin sits in the centre of a large decoration card with swirls of colour and gold foil highlights. There are five colourways: light blue, dark blue and purple, red and pink, orange, and green.

Colours are selected at random. We can’t take requests for a particular colour.

Mintage: 70,000.

Limit: 25 per customer.

Release stock: expected to dispatch in late October 2026, once it arrives from the Mint.
