Description

The Royal Australian Mint’s new Colours of Christmas series celebrates the uniquely Australian Christmas in summer, with Australia’s coral reefs taking centre stage.

Inspired by the brilliant colours and organic forms of coral reefs, the design is a kaleidoscope of purple, blue, green, pink, red, orange and yellow set against intricate relief work. The radial pattern surrounds a 2026 centrepiece and is an abstract take on stained glass, stars, snowflakes and spiked sea urchins.

The silver proof coin is presented in a tin Christmas bauble with a matching colour print and Royal Australian Mint ribbon, and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Ready to hang on the tree.
