The 2026 Australian Koala 1oz Silver Bullion Coin continues The Perth Mint’s Koala series, which brings a fresh design every year.

For 2026 the reverse shows a koala settled high in a eucalyptus tree with a leafy branch held in its mouth, framed by native foliage. It carries the ‘KOALA’ inscription, the ‘P’ mintmark, the coin’s weight and purity, and the 2026 date. On the obverse is the Dan Thorne effigy of King Charles III.

Limited to a maximum of 300,000 coins and struck from 99.99% pure silver, each has a micro-laser engraved letter on the reverse for authentication, visible only under magnification.

GST-free and Australian legal tender, it suits both silver stackers and collectors of Australian wildlife coins.
